Rest & Recharge: Mindfulness Meditation Sessions

Feeling like you’re running on empty or just need a reset? Join us for a restorative guided meditation and mindfulness class to help you release tension and feel a deeper sense of calm.

Despite common misconceptions, meditation is not about turning off your thoughts. It is mental and emotional training - like going to the gym - and there's no “right” way to do it.

What to Expect:

A relaxing 20-minute guided meditation - no experience needed

  • Simple tools to help you sharpen your focus and regulate your nervous system in less than a minute

  • Meditation and mindfulness techniques to build self-awareness and resilience

  • Optional time to share your experience and ask questions

You'll Leave With:

A calmer, refreshed mind and body

  • Micropractices that allow you to reduce stress and anxiety throughout the day (without adding more to your to-do list!)

  • Clarity on how to develop your own consistent mindfulness routine that can help you sleep better, feel happier, and bounce back from burnout

When: The first Saturday of the month from 1-2pm (January 3, February 7, and March 7). Each session stands alone. Come to as many sessions as you like.
Where: The Self Sanctuary, 951 W Dakin St, Chicago
What to bring: Chairs will be provided and you are welcome to bring your own mat, blanket, pillow, and eye mask if you’d like
Cost:
$30 per person/60 minutes
